Kayla joined us from Wigan & Leigh College through a T-Level placement and quickly became a valued part of the team. By March this year, her hard work, and commitment led to her stepping into a full-time role within our Customer Care department.
Since joining the team permanently, Kayla has taken on a key role supporting on a range of maintenance contracts. Her day-to-day responsibilities include speaking directly with residents and customers, arranging appointments, coordinating schedules, and working closely with our engineers to ensure jobs are completed smoothly and efficiently.
We caught up with Kayla to talk about her experience, what she’s learned so far, and how her journey with RPS Group has developed from placement student to full-time team member.
How Does it feel to go from being a T-Level student to a permanent team member?
I’ve grown a lot in confidence and feel more productive day to day while continuing to develop my skills, especially in time management and communication. Speaking with residents regularly has really helped me come out of my shell, and being part of a team working on a set contract has made me feel more settled and involved. Kayla – T level 2
