About Us

A family business that grew into one of the North's most trusted building services specialists

Rothwell Plumbing Services Group (RPS Group) has been established for over 35 years.
We started as a specialist heating and plumbing firm and have grown — carefully, on the strength of repeat work — into a group delivering renewables, mechanical and electrical, plumbing and heating, and gas servicing right across the North of England.

We are still family-run, and that shapes how we work. We take the long view, we honour our commitments, and we treat the relationship as the contract, not just the paperwork. Today we employ around 200 people — skilled tradespeople, technical and project staff, and a dedicated customer care team — which means we can offer clients a genuine end-to-end service rather than handing parts of a job to others.

That breadth matters most on the work the country needs now: retrofit and decarbonisation. We help clients secure funding, then design, install, monitor and maintain the technology that takes a building off gas and oil. We work on new build, retrofit, refurbishment and ongoing maintenance contracts, for both the public and private sectors.
