RPS Shortlisted Finalist in the National Energy Efficiency Awards 2023 – for National Multi Measure Project of the Year
BackRPS Group has been shortlisted in the National Energy Efficiency Awards 2023.
Our Decarbonisation scheme with Merseytravel on behalf of Liverpool City Region Combined Authority has been shortlisted for National Multi Measure Project of the Year.
Managed by Rothwell Plumbing Services Group works to the Wallasey Hub Asset Management Building included:
- Cavity Wall Insulation
- New warm Roof insulation
- New efficient Double glazing
- External wall insulation
- Air source Heat Pump Systems
- Associated M&E Works (new distribution pipe network, heat emitters, and future-proofed smart controls)
- New integrated metering & monitoring systems
This is the first building across the Liverpool City Region portfolio to be decarbonised and on the path to net zero. The project has removed gas completely from the Wallasey depot – changing the worst energy-efficient building in the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority estate to one of the most efficient- bringing about both financial & carbon savings.
Whats more, the project has significantly contributed to the Combined Authorities NetZero agenda by 2040.
