Birchwood Golf Club, established in 1979, is a GEO-Certified facility that is committed to reducing its environmental footprint. Since earning their GEO certification in 2013, they have been awarded with the Sustainability Project of the Year award at The England Golf Awards.
The next step on their sustainability Journey is installing Solar Energy to power the clubhouse.
Following the initial survey by Rothwell Plumbing Services, 31 Solar Panels have been installed at Birchwood Golf Club, marking a significant milestone in the clubs journey toward sustainability. The installation of these panels is set to reduce the carbon footprint of the clubhouse even further and will power the club house itself.
