Didsbury High School

Rothwell Building Services on behalf of the RPS Group Ltd have completed works on Didsbury High School with BAM Construction in South Manchester.

We’re very proud to have worked with BAM Construction on this £21m project; a brand-new secondary school which opened in September 2019, and a member of The Laurus Trust family, were awarded a project that is both exciting and engaging. This involves the installation of all internal Mechanical and Plumbing services.

Installation includes a fully centralised plantroom incorporating LPHW Boilers, MCW Booster sets, Calorifiers, Pressurisation units, Air/Dirt Separators, Water Conditioners & multiple Twin-Head Pump sets on Variable Temperature & Constant Temperature Heating & Domestic Circuits, Largescale commercial radiant gas tube heaters for the generously sized Sports Hall, Gas fit-outs to the numerous science laboratories including gas proving systems to each laboratory, Above ground Polypipe & Vulcathene drainage & glass traps throughout, Warm-air heaters, and all Sanitary Ware to the toilet blocks, staff rooms, cleaning cupboards and commercials kitchens.

This is a tremendous facility that has been provided for the high school students which incorporates a Sixth Form section. We’re thrilled to have been a part of such an important project which will lead to quality education and investment in future generations.
